Fire Extinguisher Training

As per the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, if an employer expects their employees to use fire extinguishers, then they must ensure staff are appropriately trained and that they are confident in not only using fire extinguishers but equally that they can make the correct decision and select the most appropriate fire extinguisher applicable to the fire type. If an employer does not provide the appropriate fire extinguisher training for staff, their Fire Emergency Evacuation Plan (FEEP) must clearly state that staff are not to tackle a fire unless suitably trained.

With our Fire Extinguisher Training session, your staff will learn how to identify what is actually on fire, select the most appropriate extinguisher for the fire type and will be taught to use fire extinguishers effectively. This fire extinguisher training will not only help to ensure that your staff are confident in using extinguishers correctly, but also in reducing the risk of fire spreading and associated dangers.
