Hands on fire extinguisher training

During a client visit in Buckinghamshire, a fire safety awareness training session was scheduled to include fire extinguisher training outside using a controlled fire from our gas rig. However, the unpredictable British weather meant that strong winds and heavy rain posed a risk of not being able to keep the students engaged and focused on learning.

To overcome this challenge, we suggested switching to our digital hands on fire extinguisher training. This allowed us to create a safe and realistic fire scenario inside their work premises, avoiding the bad weather. With LED fire extinguishers and smoke goggle technology, staff were still able to engage in hands on fire extinguisher training and learn productively, while enjoying a warm and safe training environment. By gaining experience of simulated fire emergencies in your own workplace, staff are more likely to feel confident and empowered to act in a real emergency, we work with you to create realistic fire emergencies based on your own risk within your particular business.

Some feedback from that hands on fire extinguisher training session:

  • “The digital simulator was a great way to carry out firefighter training indoors in a warm dry space. It enabled a realistic fire scenario to be set at work which helped to better understand the challenges we may face if a fire were to occur.”
  • “Using simulated fire extinguishers indoors provided a different learning approach and gave me a better understanding and idea of what to expect for the extinguishment of fires inside the premises. The training was very enjoyable in a warm training environment where I felt the trainer got the best out of me on the day.”
  • “More hands-on training with the simulator involving different scenarios in different areas of the premises would be beneficial. The training equipment provided an enjoyable experience and nothing like we have experienced before.”

Companies able to deliver their hands on fire extinguisher training in-house are welcome to hire our digital fire extinguisher training simulator. Please contact us for pricing and more details.
