Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, all businesses large and small must train new employees in fire safety and fire evacuation drills when they start work and refresh that training regularly – usually once a year.
At Benfield Fire Safety we make our Fire Safety Training as realistic as possible by engaging people in a simulated fire emergency. We train people inside your premises using the latest LED technology so they gain experience of putting out a ‘fire’ at work using digital fire extinguishers while wearing smoke goggles and masks. We can also give your staff the experience of using real fire extinguishers and fire blankets in a controlled live fire using a gas simulator outdoors.
By gaining experience of simulated fire emergencies and equipment, your staff are much more likely to remember what they have learned and feel more confident and empowered to take action during a real-life fire emergency. Course Content
Our Fire Safety Awareness Training lasts 2.5 hours and includes a balance of classroom learning and hands-on fire extinguisher training. Participants work in pairs and take part in quizzes to build their existing knowledge of fire safety.
The practical involves playing a role in a simulated fire emergency and extinguishing a simulated fire indoors using a digital fire extinguisher and/or a controlled live fire outdoors using a real fire extinguisher. Our training can be provided on your premises, so your staff fully understand your risks and gain experience of a realistic fire emergency on-site.
Our Fire Safety Awareness Training meets the requirements of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
