Yes, Fire Marshal (Fire Warden) training can be completed online; however, online training is theory-only. To ensure staff are fully prepared for real-life situations, it is strongly recommended that online learning is supplemented with practical Fire Extinguisher Training delivered in person at your workplace, allowing knowledge to be applied safely and effectively.

Fire Marshal (Fire Warden) training provided by Befnield Fire Safety is valid for three years. Refresher training should be completed after this period, or sooner if there are significant changes to the workplace, fire risks, or Fire Emergency Evacuation Plan (FEEP).

Online fire safety training can be highly effective when it is well structured and aligned with UK fire safety legislation. Controlled and supervised by our experienced instructors, this is real practice at putting out a real fire.

We simply need at your workspace:

  • A designated outdoor, level space which is away from cars and which has access to power within 45m.
  • Please ensure that our instructor can drive a vehicle near to the area you have designated (to enable set up of fire equipment).
  • In case of unfavourable weather, we can revert to an indoor digital rig to avoid any need to cancel.
  • If you do not have any suitable outdoor space available, we can use our indoor digital rig.

Practice your strategy whilst being eco friendly!

Our digital simulator with smoke goggle enhancement requires your staff to practice the correct choice of extinguisher and the correct extinguishing technique to extinguish the flame successfully. Feedback from our instructor will help your staff to make decisions and dynamically assess the situation. It is a chance for your staff to practice the full sequence of door checks before entering a room, keeping themselves safe by protecting their eyes and closing doors behind them.
