West Hill Park School is an independent day and boarding school with about 280 pupils aged 3-13 years old. First established in 1920, the school is located inside an 18th Century building set in 28 acres of ground in the historic village of Titchfield.

Our Approach And Solution
Benfield Fire Safety has been providing ongoing support to West Hill Park School since January 2015, when we first undertook a fire risk assessment and provided training.
We have an excellent relationship with the school, fulfilling all their fire safety needs. Our qualified team train the school’s staff for the first time and as a refresher to keep their training topped up. We use our digital fire simulator, laser-guided extinguishers, and smoke generators to create real-fire situations and make the experience of a fire emergency at the school as realistic as possible. The use of our gas simulator has allowed staff to also experience the heat from actual fires whilst attempting to extinguish them with the use of real extinguishers of various types.
