Benfield Fire Safety were asked to carryout a Fire Risk Assessment on a six bedroom HMO in Southampton. This is a legal requirement for employers and landlords to ensure their property is compliant with fire safety law. Assessments are carried out annually.
We visited the premises and undertook the assessment providing advice on site and delivering a full report for the landlord’s records within 48 hours. This reviewed how fires in the building should be prevented, detected and contained; and how people would get to safety should an incident occur.
