Merryhill is a Hampshire-based licensed asbestos removal contractor with clients ranging from home owners to businesses and government agencies managing large sites. Its team works out of an industrial park and yard in Romsey.

Our Approach And Solution
Our fire marshal training is delivered in a classroom setting where we build on the participants’ existing knowledge of fire safety before leading them in practical exercises. This involves playing a fire marshal role in a simulated emergency.
In September 2020, we visited Merryhill to deliver this training to 12 members of staff including asbestos supervisors and members of the back office team. The training took place in their large office space with COVID-safe procedures in place to allow everyone to social distance throughout.
As well as the classroom elements of the training the team were able to take part in hands-on fire extinguisher practice with a simulated fire and digital extinguishers.
