The Maritime & Coastguard Agency is responsible for the safety of everyone in a vessel in UK waters, providing inspection, regulation and certification as well as search and rescue services around the UK coast. Its headquarters is in Southampton and it has offices around the country.

Our Approach And Solution
Benfield Fire Safety were asked to provide Fire Warden Training for seven members of the Maritime & Coastguard Agency team based in Hampshire. They undertake this training every three years and this was the first time they had used Benfield Fire Safety.
Our training covers fire evacuation drills, putting out a fire, liaising with the fire and rescue service in the event of a fire, evaluating others in the event of a fire, routine checks and housekeeping to prevent a fire, and influencing others’ fire prevention behaviour.
The training was delivered by ex-fire service personnel and included practical fire extinguisher training. Find out more about our Fire Warden Training.
