Overview
The Manor Trust Bedhampton is a Registered Charity that serves to provide accommodation for the elderly and preserve the heritage of the village. The organisation also runs a wide range of activities throughout the year run by volunteers and supporters of the charity.
The Trust offers two very different residences. The Elms is an historic Grade II ‘star’ listed 17th Century building that provides self-contained retirement apartments. The Lodge, acquired in 1981, is a registered residential care home that provides permanent and short stay accommodation.

Our Approach
Benfield Fire Safety has undertaken fire risk assessments in both buildings and delivers regular fire safety training with staff. We have consulted with the Trust on fire safety matters such as compartmentation, fire alarms upgrades and improvements to fire doors. Benfield Fire Safety provides the fire risk assessments via an electronic system which is updated and accessible any time, which the Trust has found useful.
