Alverstoke House Nursing Home

Overview

Alverstoke House Nursing Home was originally part of the National Children’s Home site off Clayton Road in Alverstoke, near Gosport in Hampshire. Alverstoke House Nursing Home first opened in 1985 as two buildings; one offering residential care and the other nursing care. The two buildings were later joined together and extended to create one purpose built caring home.

Our Approach And Solution

Alverstoke House Nursing Home benefits from a number of services, meeting their needs, as part of an agreed service contract. This agreement includes Benfield Fire Safety being on hand to resolve any issues and provide expert advice.

Benfield Fire Safety provides an annual risk assessment, with subsequent reviews to ensure compliance with fire safety law. Fire safety awareness training takes place regularly and includes three scheduled sessions; two for the day-shift and one for the night-shift. The training is tested annually by a facilitated fire evacuation drill; one during daytime operations and one in the evening to accommodate the night-shift. Benfield Fire Safety evaluates the evacuation and provides a report.

I happily recommend Benfield Fire Safety

“I happily recommend Benfield Fire Safety. They provide and help us keep track of our fire risk assessment and fire safety training.

“Our fire risk assessment is booked in by them every year and is available online to view any time we need to. The fire safety training is of a high standard, delivered by an experienced team, and our staff think the training is very good. The team is flexible; delivering the training sessions during the day and evenings to suit our different shift patterns. The content is reviewed and adapted to our needs. Benfield Fire Safety manage when we need training and they book our training dates in advance, so we have all the sessions planned in.
